Paul McMillan, viola
Originally from the Gold Coast, Paul studied violin at the Queensland Conservatorium before moving to viola and completing Honours with Keith Crellin. After postgraduate study in Cologne with Rainer Moog and a principal contract with the Remscheider Symphoniker, he returned to Australia, performing with major orchestras in both tutti and principal roles. Since 2004 he has been Principal Viola of Orchestra Victoria, and continues to find inspiration in the solo violin works of Bach and Ysaÿe.
