Shine Squad ~ A safe, creative space for girls to feel seen, heard
is a nurturing, creative program designed especially for girls aged 7–9. At this age, girls are learning how to understand their emotions and find their voices, and Shine Squad gives them a safe, supportive space to do just that.
Each fortnight we come together in a small circle to explore feelings through fun activities — from games that build empathy, to guided visualisations that encourage calm, to art and creative projects that let them express themselves freely. Reflection sheets and gentle discussions help them practice recognising and naming their emotions, while playful group activities foster connection and kindness.
Shine Squad is about more than just learning — it’s about belonging. Girls leave each session feeling heard, valued, and celebrated for who they are. Over time, they build confidence, empathy, and resilience — skills that support their emotional wellbeing and friendships far beyond our circle.
