The third installment of the Melbourne International Open will be held from April 14 to April 19, 2026 at Melbourne Chess Club.9 Round Classical, 2 Divisions (90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1)
Masters (2000+ FIDE rating required - Norm Event)
Amateurs (maximum 2050 FIDE rating)
9 Round Rapid (13 minutes + 2 seconds increment from move 1)
9 Round Blitz (3 minutes + 2 seconds increment from move 1)
All participants who are NOT Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents are required to provide a valid FIDE ID.
