About
Established in 2008, the Australian Bachata Championship is the longest-running Bachata competition in the country, bringing together Australia’s top dancers to compete for national titles.The event features:
- A choreography division for couples and teams on Friday 28th November.
- A Jack and Jill freestyle contest, where dancers are randomly paired and judged on their leading or following on Saturday 29th of November
- Over five hours of social dancing, giving attendees a chance to connect, celebrate, and dance the night away.
This year’s championship will be held in a brand-new venue equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, designed to elevate both performance and atmosphere.
Organised by Bachateame, Sydney’s largest Bachata night, and led by two of the city’s most prominent Latin dance promoters, the event promises an unforgettable experience.
