About
The Pool Rescue Certificate, delivered by Surf Life Saving South Australia (SLSSA), is a full-day course designed to develop students’ aquatic safety and rescue skills. This course includes two certifications; HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and SISCAQU020 Perform water rescues. Participants will learn essential techniques such as in-water rescues, the use of rescue equipment, basic first aid, and safe approaches to managing emergencies in and around the pool. This nationally recognised qualification not only builds confidence and lifesaving skills but also provides an excellent foundation for students interested in pathways such as surf lifesaving, swimming instruction, or future roles in health, fitness, and community safety.Date
