Through the medium of folk song, spoken word and foggy memory; glued together by the magic of jazz, Come here Go Away is personal reflection of the Italian/Australian migrant experience. This 60 minute suite combines early musical memories, observations and lived experience of growing up as a New Australian. Come Here Go Away celebrates and interrogates what it is to be accepted and belong in this Country.
