Baking with yeast
We will be making a yeast plait, and I will teach you how to do that using 3 strands of dough - it’s a lot of fun! We will also create scrolls filled with cinnamon & hazelnuts, and pastries with a quark cream filling, berries and crumble. Sooo good!
While there is a perception that making, and working with, yeast is tricky, I will show you that that is not really the case. I will also provide you with lots of handy hints to ensure your baking at home will be a success too!
Apart from being fun, the class is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence to replicate each recipe at home. I keep the classes small (with a max of 6 participants), so that there is plenty of opportunity for questions and conversations to maximise your learning experience.

COST and inclusions
$160 per particpant plus booking fees. Hands-on class, duration of 4 - 4 1/2 hours. You take home one of each cake that you make, as well as the recipes, and a light lunch (platters with dips, cheese, vegies, fruit and bread) will be offered at the end of the class.

If you have any specific dietary requirements, please, contact Adelaide Hills Baking Classes BEFORE you finalise your booking. While many specific dietary needs can be addressed by adjusting recipes somewhat, this may not always be feasible and will not be possible on the day. A refund will not be available for a failure to communicate any specific dietary requirement(s) that may then lead to an inability to participate in the class.
