Please join ECU's School of Education in partnership with Ausdance WA for an industry Dance Futures WA forum. Lead by Dr Maria Gamble (ECU Lecturer in Dance and Health Education), Amy Wiseman (Director Ausdance WA) and Gary Hodge (Chair Ausdance WA), this event brings together leaders from dance, education, health and culture to explore barriers, share insights, and shape opportunities in dance provision throughout Western Australia.

Through dialogue and collaboration, participants will help shape strategies to strengthen career pathways, lifelong engagement and policy impact for dance. The program includes opening insights from current ECU research on dance provision, the presentation of Ausdance WA’s new discussion paper, Careers as Qualified Dance Health Specialists in Western Australia, a panel discussion with sector dance-health leaders, and collaborative activities to capture sector perspectives.

Insights will inform future ECU research and Ausdance WA’s advocacy. 

Afternoon tea and networking will follow the forum.
