About
Join Syrinx as they take us on a captivating journey through a wide range of vocal soundscapes. From the intricate Renaissance polyphony of Gombert and Vittoria to the beautiful Ayres of Dowland and the Italian and English Madrigal we immerse in a range of musical traditions both a capella and with Lute accompaniment.Lutenist Emma-Shay Gallenti-Guilfoyle further showcases her instrument with dance forms popular in this time and with its unique timbre and depth in contemporary works.
Further leading us into the sound world of Arvo Pärt, David Lang and a mesmerising work for wordless choir, Syrinx feature ‘Amor fate’ a composition from their own Zoe Charles.
