This holiday we’re mixing things up! While age can be a guide,
Riders will be placed based on skill level – so younger shredders can move up, and older riders can focus on building the basics if needed.
All Riders Bikes Should be Mountain bikes with gearing; We do not recommend single speed bikes. All bike's should have front and rear brakes with no back pedal brake,
We recommend all riders have either a drink bottle or a camelback for water, You can get 1l camel backs from Anaconda for $10
Beginner Program
This program is designed for primary school-aged riders who are comfortable on a bike but new to mountain bike trails. We focus on building confidence and mastering the fundamentals.

Who it's for: Riders new to singletrack, who may get off and walk on steeper sections.

Recommended Bike: A mountain bike (hardtail or dual suspension) with working rim or disc brakes.

Typical Ride: Green and easy blue trails, with a focus on short rides (approx. 8km).
Intermediate Program
This program is for riders who are comfortable on green trails and ready to advance their skills. We'll help you transition from a casual rider to a true mountain biker.

Who it's for: Riders typically high-school aged, who are interested in challenging themselves on more technical trails and longer rides.

Building endurance for longer rides

Recommended Bike: A mountain bike (dual suspension or hardtail) with disc brakes, 9+ gears, and aggressive off-road tires.
