Inspire Your School Choir
Are you starting a choir in 2026, or looking to take your instruction to the next level? Our experienced presenters will share simple and effective tricks of the trade that will keep your students coming back for more!
Suitable for: Primary classroom and primary specialist music teachers
Content:
• Structuring warm ups for health singing, promoting team dynamics and developing focus
• Selecting appropriate repertoire and sourcing materials
• Conducting tips and leading groups in rehearsal
• Introducing and developing part singing and harmony work
• Learning two contrasting songs, including teaching ideas
• Singing for pleasure
• Connecting and networking with other passionate teachers
Resources: Each participant will receive a booklet with warm ups, activities, music and digital resources.

Successful School Concerts - On and Off the Stage
School concerts and productions can produce a never-ending task list for already stretched teachers. What songs should I choose? How do I get my kids onstage? Where should I place the microphones? Join our experienced presenters to explore how to produce a show that fits your setting. Leave the day with practical tips for creating student-centred, high-quality and joyful performances that will inspire your students and your school community.

• Selecting content that fits your students, school community and budget
• Engaging you school community in rehearsals and performances
• Presenting your show or production creatively, including scripting, segues and other creative ideas
• Running inclusive and effective auditions for singing, dancing and acting
• Planning for success – logistics, budgeting, props, people power and more!
• Learning of a song and adding simple yet effective choreography
• Polishing for a performance
• Connecting and networking to maximise learning with and from others

Performing Arts Content Booster
Are you looking to boost or refresh your performing arts content? Let us re-stock your teacher tool-kit at this practical, hands on day where we will equip you with a wide range of resources that will engage students of all ages and abilities.
Suitable for: Primary classroom and primary specialist music teachers, casual relief teachers and pre-service teachers
Content:
• Music in the Classroom – greeting songs, transition songs, action songs and creative musical activities to engage students
• Team Building Activities – fun and energising theatre-based activities designed to promote imagination, teamwork, focus and confidence
• Movement Activities and Dance – warm up, stretch and learn a fun and easy dance routine to teach your class
• Drama – engaging activities that lay the foundations for improvisation and characterisation
Resources: Each participant will receive a booklet with warm ups, activities, music and digital resources.

Payment Options
When you click the yellow ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page you will be taken to the ‘Tickets’ page. There are two payment options for each workshop for you to select from:
Option 1 - School Invoice
- If you would like ASPA Education to email you an invoice so that your school can pay for the workshop/s please select the ‘School Invoice’ ticket type.
- The Trybooking site does not generate the relevant invoice for your school. Do not use this invoice. ASPA Education will email an invoice to you directly within 14 days of registration.
Option 2 - Credit Card
- If you would like to pay by credit card please select the ‘Credit Card’ ticket type.
Please note: A TryBooking booking fee of $0.50 per registration will apply; all other fees are included in the price. Once your booking has been successfully processed TryBooking will send you a confirmation email.
Filming and Photography
Australian School of Performing Arts may use photographs, audio and video recordings of participants in the program in promotional material.
It is your responsibility to inform us by email to aspaed@aspagroup.com.au before the commencement of the program if you do not wish to be filmed or have still photographs taken.
