Following on from our presentation in December where Congress delegates shared highlights of the Paris Congress, hear about the Pre-Congress in Reims and St Quentin, northern France, and the Post-Congress in Brussels, Belgium.Come along at 7:30 to meet and chat to old and new faces - all drawn together by the love of Art Deco. Join us in the ANZAC Room to enjoy nibbles and a cup of tea or coffee. You can also grab a drink from the bar downstairs on your way up.
Take a seat by 8 pm to hear from our members about how Reims, 'The martyred city' of WWI was rebuilt in the modern style that became known as Art Deco, as well as highlights of our tour to St Quentin with its own Art Deco gems.
Then we'll visit Brussels, to learn how it threw off its Art Nouveau heritage and embraced the modern Deco style.
