Course at a Glance

Monash Simulation is offering a unique one-day course for MET response training. Aimed at ICU registrars, medical registrars and ICU outreach nurses, the course aims to cultivate the essential skills of crisis resource management and teamwork with workshops, skills stations and high-fidelity simulation.

Course topics

Course topics will include recognition of the deteriorating patient, ABC workshops, common MET calls and difficult decision making.

Who can attend?

Monash Health MET responders, including:

• Medical Registrars

• ICU Registrars

• ICU Outreach / Access Nurses

Course Fees

Monash Health Staff : $0 . To secure your place, a $50 deposit is required. This helps to reduce non-attendance and ensures fair access to the course. A refund of the entrire fee minus the processing charges will be made once you attend your booked session.

Course Cancellations and Deferments:

•  Course fees minus the admin fees will be refunded if the participant attends the course 

•  Cancellations made more than one month prior to the scheduled event: The deposit will be fully refunded.

•  Cancellations made within one month of the scheduled event: The deposit is non-refundable, except in circumstances where an official statutory declaration or a valid medical certificate is provided.

•  A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend a course.
