To mark International Volunteer Day, The Home and Community Care Program for Younger People [HACC PYP] team is hosting an event to recognise volunteers’ contributions, celebrate the value of volunteering, and encourage greater community participation. The event will bring people together to share their experiences — from both the giving and receiving perspectives — and showcase the meaningful impact of volunteering.The event will feature a presentation on volunteering and HACC PYP social connection programs, followed by a lunch, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers and community members.
A special performance by our talented youth band artists will add to the celebration as we come together to mark International Volunteer Day.
Everyone is welcome - If you are a volunteer, interested in volunteering or celebrate volunteering.
