Sunday Sessions Jazz: Swing into Christmas (SOLD OUT)
The legendary trio of Ian Date on guitar, George Washingmachine on violin and vocals and Andrew Dickeson on drums are back together! Joining them at Bowral Bowling Club on Sunday 21 December for "Swing into Christmas" is bass player Jacob Graham, one of the young hot shots on the scene and described by jazz critic Eric Myers as “a revelation, one of the most accomplished double bassists I’ve heard for some time”.
Playing Christmas tunes and music from the Golden Era of Swing, with all the great songwriters from Cole Porter to Irving Berlin, this will be an afternoon of swinging jazz and stories – don’t miss out!
The $35 ticket price ($30 for SH Jazz members, $20 for student/child) plus booking fee is for event entry only, with reserved table seating. Food and drink is available to order at the venue. If you have any special song requests or seating preferences, please let us know when you book! Doors open from 1:00pm with the band playing from 2-4:30pm.
