Watch this CPD webinar to hear about conducting respectful consultations with First Nations people and organisations. Troy Casey from Aboriginal-owned design consultancy Blaklash will share practical knowledge and culturally responsive approaches for effective consultation practice. You'll learn how to identify the right people and organisations, create respectful meeting environments, utilise effective consultation tools and understand the importance of agency. Originally held 16 October 2025.

This session covers: 

  • Identifying the right people and organisations to engage with for your consultation needs.
  • Creating respectful meeting environments where First Nations advisers and community members feel comfortable and valued.
  • Utilising effective consultation tools that meaningfully engage with Traditional Owners.
  • The importance of agency in the consultation process and how to ensure it guides your approach.
