Your $10 spot helps cover hosting and Meetup fees so we can keep creating these events for the community.
How will I find you/what to do when arrive:
The Winery is towards the back, you will see me in rainbow at entrance as well as Rainbow balloons
I do not drink or like loud music. How will we chat:
The venue has lots of non-alcohol options - mocktails etc and the music will be at a level that we can chat and mingle
Coming alone?
Yes, please do! Everyone starts somewhere. I’ll be at the entrance to greet you and make sure you feel welcome. The first event can feel a little daunting, but it gets easier—and you’ll start seeing familiar faces. I also try to match and mix you with regulars, which helps with conversation flow, dynamics and I always facilitate an event that you have a deep sense of connection.
I want YOU and I to make friends. Attendance is key! Look forward to seeing you there.
Worried it looks cliquey?
It might seem that way because regulars keep coming back (which is awesome for building connections!). But diversity is key, and new faces are always encouraged. This is where real friendships happen, by attending consistently.
How to get there:
- There is the 304 (Zetland or city) and 352 (Bondi Junction or Marrickville) bus out the front.
- Train to Museum and walk Oxford St and turn right on Crown St
