Explore the hidden gardens of Taroona at the Taroona Garden Trail.Join us on Sunday, 15 February from 10am–1pm for a self-guided tour through up to 15 beautiful private and public gardens across Taroona. Wander at your own pace, meet passionate gardeners, and discover everything from coastal natives and cottage plantings to productive veggie patches and creative backyard havens.
After the trail, everyone is invited to a joyful community celebration at the Taroona Neighbourhood Garden for a chance to connect with fellow garden lovers.
This event is a fundraiser for the Taroona Neighbourhood Garden, with all proceeds supporting the upkeep of this valuable community space and local community activities such as workshops.
Come along, explore, and help our community garden grow.
What to expect next:
We’ll be sending another email on Friday 13th February with the exact locations of all participating gardens, so you’ll have plenty of time to plan your route and decide how you’d like to explore the trail. The trail runs from 10.00am–1.00pm.
Join us for the Garden Celebration
After the trail, everyone is warmly invited to a Garden Celebration at the Taroona Neighbourhood Garden, from 1.30–3.30pm. This event is open to everyone, no ticket required.
It’s the perfect chance to relax, reconnect and soak up the atmosphere. On offer:
Light lunch, cakes and coffee/tea available for purchase
A plant stall with plants grown by our local community
An exciting garden raffle with prizes from Hoselink, Blundstone, Merry People and more
Live music from talented local Taroona musicians
Bring a picnic rug if you like, and enjoy some well-earned time in our beautiful community garden.
