Join the Tewantin Pelicans Basketball Academy – Term 1 2026 (Full Academy)!Open to boys and girls in Years 2–6 (born 2013–2018).
📅 Schedule (Weeks 2–10, Term 1):
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00–8:50 AM (before school, school courts)
Girls who register for the Full Academy may also attend the Wednesday girls-only session at no extra cost.
💲 Fee:
$115 for the term (works out to around $6.50 per training session).
Families are encouraged to apply for the Queensland Play On voucher, which is accepted by Noosa District Basketball Association for players to help cover the cost of season registration.

👉 All players must register, including those in Saturday competition teams.
Players who wish to represent the Tewantin Pelicans in the Saturday morning competition are required to attend before-school training as part of the program.
🎒 Bring:
Water bottle, basketball shoes, school bag, and a pumped size 5 ball (size 6 also fine).
ℹ️ Train for fun and fitness, or join a team and play in the 2026 Summer Season (U10 Boys, U12 Boys, Junior Girls, and possibly U14) on Saturday mornings at Noosa District Basketball Association.
⚠️ Please note: training sessions are weather dependent. If a session is cancelled due to rain or unsafe court conditions, we unfortunately do not have the capacity to reschedule.

Before-school training will run in Term 1 for students in Years 2–6 (born 2013–2018).
These sessions are delivered by qualified coaches from Noosa Basketball and held on the school’s outdoor courts:

Wednesdays – 8:00–8:50 AM (Girls Squad, supported by sponsorship to encourage more girls to try basketball)
