The Beginner’s Stitch Studio - Term 1 2026
Want to pick up a new hobby? Join us in this beginner friendly sewing workshop where you will learn the foundations of a sewing machine, basic stiches, how to read and use patterns and more!
With each week covering a new topic, you will leave wanting more!
Sewing machine and tools provided. BYO fabrics.
Week 1: Understanding the sewing machines and sewing techniques.
Week 2: Reading and using patterns and fabric selections.
Week 3: Measuring, marking, and cutting.
Week 4: Hand sewing stitches.
Week 5 Zipper installation
Week 6: Making a simple project like a tote bag with a zip. TBC with tutor
Date: Mondays, 2 February – 9 March
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Cost: $90.00 (6 sessions)
If you would like to join a program that has already started, please contact the Centre on 9249 4900 to organise a pro-rata payment. You will receive a Promo Code so you only pay for classes from your start date.
Please note bookings will close after the 2nd week.
