About
Dr Lukas Cheney is a psychiatrist currently in private practice after many years working and training in the public mental health system. His most recent public role was a deputy clinical director at Spectrum, the Victorian state-wide service for personality disorder and complex trauma. This work involved assessment and treatment for people with highly complex mental health challenges. Dr Lukas has training primarily in DBT, but has been exposed to multiple disciplines. His interest in neurodiversity is deep and driven by his belief that it offers a window into the inner workings of human neurocognitive function.This presentation will cover the intersection of ADHD and Personality from both a theoretical and a practical perspective for clinicians. Be ready for broad ideas, the latest evidence, and clinical illustrations.
