Joyful Yoga and Sound Bath: Honour the Summer Solstice (CANCELLED)

Location
Shelly Park Cronulla, NSW, 2230
About
As we head into the festive season, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the summer solstice. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year. It’s a time to celebrate light, growth and renewal – and as we head into the end of the year, new beginnings.
Let’s celebrate the sun and the power it provides to nature with gentle sun salutations and a heart opening practice to give thanks to it’s energy. We’ll be honouring our balance in our postures as this is a time to reflect on the balance in our lives – a time when day and night are equal. In our meditation, set intentions for patience, nourishment and deep trust.
Then settle into a lengthy savasana to a gorgeous sound bath. We'll rise in time to honour the sunset.
Afterwards, stick around to ground or swim in the ocean.
