Junior 1 Classes - Term 1, 2026

Who: Children in Kindergarten to Year 1, at School in 2026.

Course content: Learning music has never been this much fun! A progressive course over 2 years, Junior books contain all of the keyboard pieces, notation, worksheets and songs used in class and at home.

We sing, move, play, listen, read and perform – with a huge variety of games and activities to ensure life-long musical skills. 

Class duration: Classes are 1 hour each week and enrolment is for 1 term.

Pre-requisite: A piano or keyboard is required at home.

What next: Junior Course leads directly into AMS Junior Plus Course where we further develop the ability to play, read and appreciate music. This course will give you priority entry to the next course.

NOTE: A Parent/Guardian is required to attend classes.

For the benefit of all participants, siblings who are not enrolled in the course cannot be admitted..

General Information:

• There is a $50 cancellation fee for all courses. 
• Sibling discounts are available for those that have a sibling currently enrolled at AMS. Call the AMS office to receive a discount code.
• We accept NSW Creative Kids vouchers. Call the AMS office to redeem your voucher.
