Intermediate A2.5 - Term 1, 2026 |
Monday evenings 6:45-8:45pm.
This course requires about three years of previous French study. It is open to students who completed our Intermediate A2.4 course in term 4, 2025. New students should email us to enquire about availability before enrolling.
During term 1, students will look at the theme of travelling overseas and learn how to use the superlative form (e.g. to say that something is the biggest or the best) before starting the leçons in Unité 4 of the Inspire 2 textbook. Topics covered will include: hiring help for jobs around the home; seeking and giving advice to set up an online business or a start-up; modern workspaces. Grammar points include: the conditional tense (saying what someone would do).
The course covers the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
