Yarra Roughies 100 x 100m Swim Challenge 2026
About
Challenge yourself to swim up to 10k in a fun, supportive, relaxed environment. This is a non-competitive event where entrants swim up to 10km in 100m intervals, at a self-nominated pace.This event is open to all swimmers 18 years and older.
How It Works
When you register for the event, you will be asked to select your time cycle. Your time cycle is the period of time after which you start each 100m. Guidance on how to select your time cycle is available here.
Once you've registered online, on the morning of the swim, you will sign in and receive an event swimming cap. You will then head to the lane assigned to them (lanes are assigned by time cycle), where you will swim on your selected time cycle. The 100 x 100m are divided into 10 blocks of 10 x 100m. These blocks are separated by scheduled breaks.
The participants in each lane all swim on the same time cycle, and will take breaks together. This allows swimmers in the same lane to work together to achieve their swimming goals.

Free parking is available on Alexandra Pde. Bicycle parking is available in front of Fitzroy Pool.
Fitzroy Pool is easy walking distance to the #11 tram and the #86 tram.
