About
Hamlet the LoneliestDirected by Julian Crotti.

20 years after a violent break down left his kingdom and psyche in ruins, Hamlet returns.
Barely recognising the faces around him or his own self, things are familiar but not the same.
Changing, quickly.
Is this a dream,
Is it the afterlife,
Are these characters apparitions, visions from a dissonant timeline, parts of a whole or a cursed reality?

This new work by No Strings builds on the past success from this creative team (Julian Crotti and Duncan Luke), this time adding more No Strings actors to the ensemble and drawing from (but not bound to) the classic tale of madness and existence, we watch as chaotic creativity unravels before our very eyes.
Hitting the stage in June 2026 at Slingsby’s Hall of Possibility, this original work explores our ability to grow through/with mental health issues, collective psychosis, and the strength, frailty and perseverance of the human heart.
