Join us for a day at Deep Creek Reserve, where Swinburne PrimeSci will give kids the opportunity to learn about science and the environment, by utilising the indoor centre and surrounding wetlands.
This event has been updated, will now run as one combined age group:
Freshwater Habitats:
Investigate different wetland water samples from of the Deep Creek Reserve to identify freshwater invertebrates (including waterbugs). Discuss the needs of animals that live in these habitats as you learn about living and non-living factors that influence life in our local waterways.
After the excursion, families are encouraged to stay for lunch and a play at the eco play space.

Sorry, no preschool aged siblings. Families are encouraged to send friends in together, & younger siblings can play at the eco play space during the excursion
