Building a Clear, Practical Farm Plan:Developing a farm plan provides clarity, direction and confidence. This practical workshop is designed to help small property owners create a clear vision for their land, set achievable goals, and understand how the natural systems on their property work together.
Presented by Chris Wyhoon, this workshop will equip you with the skills to:
• Understand water, nutrient and energy cycles
• Read your land, including climate, soils and landforms
• Use maps and simple planning tools effectively
• Set clear, realistic goals for your farm landscape and enterprises
• Identify, prioritise and address key challenges on your property
• Recognise the landscape and agricultural elements that influence rural planning
