Deepen Your Practice - Yoga for your Constitution
About
This 2 hour workshop offers a practical way to deepen your yoga practice by understanding your unique constitution and what your body and nervous system need to find balance. We’ll begin with a simple introduction to Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, which recognises that each person has a different constitution. You’ll complete a questionnaire to identify your dominant constitution — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — and how they tend to show up physically, energetically, and mentally.
From here, we’ll move into a full yoga practice. You’ll be grouped according to your dominant constitution, and throughout the practice you’ll be guided with clear adaptations — such as changes in pace, holding time, effort, and rest — so you can directly experience how personalising your practice supports balance and ease.
The workshop concludes with reflection and integration, and you’ll receive a take-home worksheet to support home practice and everyday application.
Suitable for all levels. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda required.
