The 2026 Annual Rotary Club of Wonthaggi Community Breakfast and Awards Program will be held on Monday 26 January 2026 at the iconic Union Theatre, Wonthaggi, bringing the community together to celebrate Australia Day in a meaningful and inclusive way.
Commencing with a community breakfast from 8:00am to 9:00am, the morning will provide an opportunity for residents, community leaders and families to connect, reflect and share in the spirit of service and belonging. From 9:00am, the Awards Program will formally begin, recognising the remarkable individuals who make a lasting difference across the Wonthaggi and Bass Coast community.
This special event shines a spotlight on the everyday heroes whose dedication, generosity and commitment strengthen our local community. From volunteers and community advocates to those who quietly give their time and energy to support others, the Awards Program acknowledges the positive impact these individuals have through service, leadership and compassion.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Wonthaggi, the 2026 Community Breakfast and Awards Program is a proud tradition that celebrates connection, gratitude and community spirit. All community members are warmly invited to attend and join in recognising those who truly embody the values of service above self.

Companion tickets available via box-office with valid companion card.
All tickets are non-refundable.
Children aged 12 and over can attend Bass Coast Cultural Venues unaccompanied.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian (18+) while on the premises.
