2026 Transition Bondi - Mend & Remake
Make your wardrobe sustainable, one stitch at a time
Since March 2023, Transition Bondi has been running monthly Mend & Remake workshops. These sessions are a practical, welcoming space where people come together to reduce textile waste, learn skills, and support each other to repair and rework clothing.
We provide sewing machines, tools, and basic equipment. You bring the clothes you want to mend or remake.

-
Help from experienced sewists in a relaxed, friendly setting
-
A community focused on reducing fashion waste and sharing knowledge
-
Small group sessions, limited to 15 participants, for personalised support
Who it's for
All skill levels are welcome. Absolute beginners, confident sewists, hot glue enthusiasts, and curious experimenters.
What to bring
- Bring clothes or materials you are ready to cut, stitch, layer, or reinvent.
- Come make something loud, joyful, and reused, together.
