Following the devastating Skipton/Streatham fires in early January 2026, the Carranballac Recreation Reserve—home to multiple local clubs and community events—was tragically lost. To help rebuild this vital community hub, the Royal Hotel Snake Valley is proudly hosting a fundraiser supporting fire recovery efforts.Event highlights include:
Special guest appearance by Merv Hughes
Guest speakers including Tanya Keogh, Mount Emu Ward Councillor (Pyrenees Shire)
Meal and drinks package
Live music
Raffles, giveaways, and prizes
Best-dressed cricket personality award
All proceeds will contribute directly to rebuilding the Carranballac Recreation Reserve and restoring this important facility for the community.
