EVENT 1 - Fashion Panel with Josh Deane, Elijah Money and Tahnee Edwards.
Narrm Ngarrgu will host an inspiring Fashion Panel as part of the PayPal Fashion Festival 2026, spotlighting three incredible First Nations creatives who are shaping the future of art, design, and fashion.
Josh Deane, an emerging Palawa (trawlwoolway) artist and designer based in Naarm/Melbourne, brings bold, narrative-rich works to life through painting, murals, and textile design. His practice explores cultural heritage, identity, and resilience, bridging tradition and contemporary expression.
Elijah Money is a Wiradjuri queer brotherboy raised on Kulin Nations, where he proudly continues to live and create. A dynamic multidisciplinary artist and storyteller, Elijah moves fluidly between roles as an MC, creative producer, writer, visual artist, workshop facilitator, and celebrated drag performer. His drag and fashion practice are deeply informed by his lived experience as someone who embodies many intersecting identities—where the political is always personal, and self-expression becomes a form of both resistance and joy. Elijah’s work is grounded in celebrating First Peoples queer brilliance, bringing bold colour, cultural pride, and unapologetic authenticity to every stage he steps onto.
Tahnee Edwards, a proud Yorta Yorta and Taungurung woman, is the founder of Gammin Threads, a fashion brand blending streetwear with First Nations storytelling. Through her designs, Tahnee champions representation and pride, creating garments that spark conversation and celebrate identity.
Join us for this dynamic discussion on culture, creativity, and the power of fashion as a platform for storytelling.
