AI in Practice Part 2: The Architect – On Demand

AI in Practice Part 2: The Architect – On Demand

hero

Watch this webinar by Arch_Manu director Prof M. Hank Haeusler, who this time focuses on AI implications and learnings for architects. Originally held 27 November 2025.

The rapid rise of Generative AI is reshaping the way we work, challenging traditional workflows and redefining the skills architects need to thrive. In this talk, Hank discusses how AI is transforming the architecture profession from design ideation and documentation, to education and early-career pathways.

Drawing on recent international research and Australia’s national GenAI strategy, this session unpacks the emerging division between human judgment and AI execution, highlighting where architects can lead rather than follow. The talk explores key implications for practice, education and workforce development, and outline practical strategies for firms to adapt confidently and creatively.
