In this workshop, participants will explore their identity and sense of belonging by undertaking brainstorming exercises, planning their memoir, and writing an opening scene. We will cover narrative writing techniques: descriptive detail, five senses, major and minor characters and characterisation. This will be a hands-on workshop that will allow students to begin a memoir piece that they can complete in their own time.Suitable for adults and kids
