Call out to Central Coast Artists.  No judges !!  No selection panel !!

As part of our 25^th year celebrations Gosford Regional Gallery would like to invite Central Coast local artists to exhibit in the exhibition SALON 2026. This exciting opportunity gives local artists a platform to show work in the Community Gallery space at Gosford Regional Gallery and celebrates artists in our community. The exhibition will be presented floor to ceiling, in the 'salon' style.

SALON 2026 exhibition has no judges and no selection panel. The first 120 artists to submit an entry of work completed in the six months prior to the exhibition (finished after 1 October 2025) will be included. Entries are open to all artists aged 16 and over residing on the Central Coast. Entry fee is $15.

SALON 2026 opens on Friday 17 April and closes Monday 4 May 2026.

Terms and Conditions

ARTWORK
Salon 2026 accepts two-dimensional artworks in any medium
All artworks must have been completed in the six months prior to the exhibition (finished after 1 October 2025). 
Artwork must not exceed one (1) metre by one (1) metre and should be easily lifted by two people. Work must be presented ready for exhibition with d-rings attached. The artist’s name, address, telephone number, title of work and retail price must be noted on the back of the work. All entered work must be for sale.

ENTRY PROCEDURE
All entries must be submitted online via this Trybooking link. Entries will open 1 February 2026 and close when we receive 120 entries. One entry per person only.
For the entry to be valid, all fields in the entry form must be correctly completed and the entry fee paid.
Entries are open to all artists aged over 16 who are resident on the NSW Central Coast only.

ENTRY FEE
SALON 2026 entry fee is $15.  
One entry per artist permitted only.
Entry fees are non-refundable. 

SELECTION PROCEDURE
There are no judges or selection panel. The first 120 artists to correctly complete and submit their online entry, meet the terms and conditions and pay the entry fee will be included in the exhibition.
Exhibiting Artists will be notified by email.
The names of the SALON 2026 Exhibiting Artists will be promoted online prior to the exhibition.
In the event of a dispute arising regarding the rules and conditions of entry, a decision made by Gosford Regional Gallery Management shall be final.

EXHIBITION
Exhibiting Artists will be asked to deliver work to the gallery prior to the exhibition. Delivery may be in person or via a courier service. Exhibiting Artists are responsible for all costs associated with packing and delivery. Entries must be labelled SALON 2026. 
All works selected for exhibition must remain on show for the full duration of the exhibition.
Exhibiting Artists are responsible for the collection of their work at the close of the exhibition unless the work is sold.

SALE OF WORK
All works exhibited must be for sale.
The Gallery will take a 25 percent commission including GST. Commission and GST must be included in the sale price indicated by the Artist. 
Artists who sell work will be required to register as a Supplier of Central Coast Council.
Artists will be paid for artwork sales within 60 days after the conclusion of the exhibition, provided that all information required by Council to process payments is submitted promptly on request.
Sales will be processed through the Gosford Regional Gallery Shop. 

COPYRIGHT
By entering the SALON 2026, the entrant agrees to grant Gosford Regional Gallery a non-exclusive licence to photograph and publish images of the entered artwork, or an image detail of the artwork, for the purpose of documentation and the promotion of the SALON exhibition and/or Gosford Regional Gallery.

PRIVACY
Information supplied in the SALON 2026 online entry form will be used solely for the purpose of running this exhibition. The Exhibiting Artist's name, artwork title, medium, size, price and Artist statement will be used to create a sales sheet, exhibition signage and an archive of SALON 2026 finalists.

INSURANCE
Work on exhibition will be insured against fire, theft and vandalism. Gosford Regional Gallery will not be held liable for minor accidental damage that may occur to artwork during the storage and transport, or deterioration due to inherent vice.

COLLECTION OF WORK
Any unsold artwork not collected within two weeks of the close of the exhibition will be disposed of unless alternative arrangements have been made with Gallery staff. The Gallery will endeavour to contact Artists prior to disposal.

ELIGIBILITY
SALON 2026 is open to all Artists who reside in the Central Coast Local Government Area, except for employees of Central Coast Council. Artworks entered must have been produced after 1 October 2025. Artists must be aged 16 or older on 1 February 2026 to enter.

EXHIBITION ROSTER
All participating artists are expected to assist with the exhibition minding roster. There are two shifts per day the exhibition is open 9:15 - 12:45 and 12:30 - 4:00. Details of how to book will be sent with your confimation email.
