In this talk, Luke will give an introduction to the AES67 and AES70 protocols. AES67 is a standard for Audio over IP (AoIP) interoperability that provides for playout of audio media streams, distributed as data packets over computer networks, using the Internet Protocol (IP).
AES70 is a control protocol for network media devices. Together, they allow for the distribution and orchestration of audio media across both small and large networks.
The talk will also include an (unrelated) brief discussion and demonstration of Dolby Atmos.
