After a monumentous year of sold out shows featuring some of WA music’s most revered artists, boutique concert series Tender is the Night returns to Melville in 2026 with another season of music reimagined with strings.This series brings together the best of WA classical composers and contemporary songwriters for a truly unique colaboration and performance. these must-see concerts feature artists hearing their songs reimagined by a string quartet for the first time as they play. Held in stunning venues IN the City of Melville, Tender is the Night is set to deliver another spinetingling, goosebump-inducing concert series that unites artist and audience as one.
On August 22nd, Legendary songwriter Dom Mariani of the Stems will play his blend of rock and 60s pop, supported by the sweet folk sounds of Helen Shanahan.
This talented line-up is backed by the superb sounds of the Tender Strings Quartet, with arrangements by emerging West Australian composers including Aaron Wyatt, R.E., Jared Yapp, and Simon Kruit.
Tender is the Night is for all music lovers – young, old, and young at heart.
