Bringing your baby home is one of the most beautiful moments of your life — but it can also feel overwhelming, emotional, and full of questions.
Hello Baby is a gentle, practical and deeply supportive Postpartum and Baby Care Class designed to help you feel calm, confident, and prepared for the early days with your newborn.
This full-day workshop is led by Midwife Suzi (Endorsed Midwife & IBCLC Lactation Consultant) and created especially for new parents who want real-life guidance, reassurance, and hands-on skills before baby arrives — or in those first weeks postpartum.
What you’ll learn
This class covers everything you wish someone had explained before you brought your baby home, including:
Newborn behaviour and what is normal in the early weeks
Feeding support and understanding baby’s cues
Settling techniques and soothing your baby with confidence
Sleep safety, SIDS guidelines, and creating a safe sleep environment
Nappy changing, bathing, wrapping and everyday newborn care
Understanding postpartum recovery and the emotional adjustment to motherhood
Partner support and the changing family unit
Practical strategies to help you rest, recover, and feel supported
Gentle baby massage and nurturing touch techniques
A class that feels like a village
This is not a rushed lecture — it is a warm, welcoming space where you can ask questions, practise skills with guidance, and connect with other parents preparing for the same transition.
You’ll leave with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to care for your baby — and yourself — in the postpartum period.
