Rockdale Opera Company is raising $2,000 to help bring The Monk to the stage for its world premiere, and we’d love you to be part of it. 

The Monk is a bold new Australian opera that pushes boundaries and expands what independent opera can be. Developing new work is exhilarating, but it also comes with real costs, even as a workshop performance: sets, costumes, lighting, rehearsals, preparing materials, and giving this powerful gothic story the standard it deserves. By contributing, you’re not just donating — you’re actively investing in the creation of a brand-new opera and taking part in Australian operatic history. The rewards and donation levels on the next page offer a tangible way for you to be part of The Monk’s journey, while directly helping us place new Australian opera on the stage. The more you give, the more you get! Support The Monk and enjoy rewards that grow with your contribution — from exclusive updates and signed keepsakes to VIP experiences and co-producer credit. Rewards can be collected front-of-house during the show, or mailed to you for a modest postage and handling charge of $11.50.

You can choose to keep your donation anonymous, if you wish, before your finalise your donation. 

Please note that these 'tickets' are crowdfunding rewards for your donation to support Rockdale Opera Company putting on the world premiere of The Monk, and are not tickets to the opera itself (excluding the VIP Experience and Co-Producer tiers, which do include two complimentary tickets to the opera). Tickets to the opera can be purchased at this link.
