About
Each year in February, all of the AYO ensembles and families of NECOM spend a weekend together.This is an essential component of the AYO's program for the year and is loved by the players and families alike, having a weekend full of music.
This year, we are hosting the camp at home in Armidale.
The weekend is from Friday 27 February to Sunday 1 March 2026.
Having a local camp opens up a great opportunity for surrounding school aged musicians who are wanting to try out an ensemble in a relaxed and fun environment.
Students from local schools will be able to participate in the the same activities as the NECOM musicians, including rehearsals on the Friday night (AYO orchestra only), Saturday all day and the final concert on the Sunday morning.
There are social gatherings on the Friday and Saturday night too!
More information about the weekend will be sent out after you register.
Closer to the date, the musician/s will be allocated to a group according to ability and we will email the music.

Registration: $100.00 per student. $80.00 per subsequent member of one family (available once one full price ticket is purchased).
