Spend a relaxed and inspiring day exploring the beauty of soft pastels.This weekend workshop is perfect for beginner to intermediate adult artists—especially if you’re curious about soft pastels or would love to feel more confident drawing landscapes.
We’ll work together step by step to create a serene, inviting landscape featuring a gentle sunrise sky and rolling green hills.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to layer pastels, create an underpainting, and gradually build depth and atmosphere.
By the end of the day, you’ll head home with a finished artwork and a deeper understanding of this beautiful medium.
Come immerse yourself in the rich, tactile joy of soft pastels and enjoy a day of creativity, colour, and connection.

• $120 BYO materials
• $150 all art materials supplied
Materials List (BYO option)
If you’re bringing your own supplies, please bring the following:
• Soft pastels – artist-quality sets or individual sticks
• Art Spectrum Colourfix pastel paper, A3, in white, light blue, or rose grey
(If you’re unable to source paper, I’ll have some available for purchase at $5 each)
• Willow charcoal sticks
• Drawing board slightly larger than A3 (for taping or clipping paper – spares available)
• Table or standing easel (optional)
• Kneadable eraser
• Old hand towel for your hands
• Apron to protect your clothes
• Baking paper or glassine to protect your finished artwork
• 3 bulldog clips
• Masking tape
• Ruler
