Slava Grigoryan and Al Slavik - ‘And so, it turns’
About
Australian guitarist Slava Grigoryan and Austrian bassist Al Slavik re-unite for an Australian tour celebrating the release of their 3rd album 'And so, it turns’.A chance meeting in London in the mid-nineties led to a strong personal and musical bond between Australia’s premier classical guitarist and an Austrian electric bass player more ensconced in the pop/rock world of the time.
What could possibly go wrong?.....nothing as it turns out.
With their wide and varied individual influences, they found common ground releasing two albums, Another Night in London (Sony,1999) and Continental Shift (Which Way Music, 2005). They waited for the right time and place to add to their catalogue, and as it happens December 2025 in Italy seemed appropriate (these guys aren’t in any sort of a rush). You see, it’s all about coming together and creating something of beauty.
They’ve succeeded. Again.
For this tour they will perform pieces from
‘And so, it turns’ plus a selection from their previous albums.
