The Play That Goes Wrong is a hilarious stage comedy about an amateur drama society, the Cornley Drama Society, attempting to stage a 1920s murder mystery, "The Murder at Haversham Manor," but everything that can go wrong does, including collapsing sets, forgotten lines, missing props, and actors getting injured, all while they desperately try to reach their final curtain call. It's a play-within-a-play where the disastrous performance itself becomes the main event, filled with physical comedy and farcical mayhem.
