Fresh from representing Australia at the Winter Olympics, local sports star Sarah Blizzard is coming home to Ararat as guest speaker at our 2026 International Women’s Day Morning Tea.Join us on Wednesday 11 March at the Ararat RSL Function Room from 10.30am as Sarah shares her journey from local sport to the world stage, and what leadership and persistence mean to her both on and off the slopes.
Hosted by Deputy Mayor Cr Teli Kaur, the morning tea will also feature local leaders Sandra Marriner, Rowena Murray and Catherine Howison, each offering their own perspective on women’s leadership, connection and community life in Ararat Rural City.
Join us for a morning tea and celebrate 2026 International Women's Day together.
