Jazz Guitarist JC Stylles assembles a stellar line up for his” Blue Note Excursion” at Miss Celies on Saturday 14th March.Having spent 20 years in New York City recording and performing with such jazz luminaries as Ronnie Cuber, Billy Drummond, Steve Nelson, Peter Washington , Pat Bianchi and many more and recently returned to Sydney, he plans to share some of the great Blue Note repertoire often performed in New York Clubs like Smalls, Smoke and the Zinc bar. Expect to hear a range of tunes from Bobby Hutcherson, Freddie Hubbard, Grant Green and Wayne Shorter interpreted by this band which includes Andrew Robertson-sax/flute, Aaron Blakey-Piano, Jacob Graham-bass and Andy Gander on drums.
