Standing With Harcourt & Launch of Buy Local Campaign
About
Business Mount Alexander warmly invites members and the wider business community to our first social networking event of 2026.Join us on Wednesday 11 March from 5.30pm–8.00pm for a relaxed evening at Boomtown, with a drink on arrival and the chance to reconnect, reflect and look ahead together.
This special event will acknowledge and thank the incredible response from businesses across our region who moved so quickly to support Harcourt following the recent bushfires. From immediate fundraisers to quiet acts of generosity and solidarity, the business community has shown what it truly means to stand together.
We’re proud to be hosting this gathering at Boomtown — one of the first businesses to respond, launching a fundraiser just two days after the fires and leveraging their strong connections with local and regional wineries to rally support.
The evening will also provide a welcoming space for businesses from Harcourt and surrounding areas who have been impacted. This event offers an informal, business-to-business environment to reconnect, share experiences and access peer support. If your business was affected by the recent fires, you are welcome to book for free as a Member for this event.
Finally, we’ll be officially launching BMA’s Buy Local campaign — a rewards program designed to keep money circulating within our community. The initiative will offer residents incentives to shop locally and support registered businesses, strengthening our local economy as recovery continues.
Come along to connect, acknowledge the strength of our business community, and be part of the next chapter in supporting local.
We look forward to seeing you there.
