Drumming legend Brian Abrahams has been the nucleus of the South African jazz music being played in Melbourne for over two decades.For this celebration Brian will join up with fellow drummer Ronny Ferella to lead a large ensemble, inspired by Brian's time with the Grand Union Orchestra. Space Is The Place is the exciting combination of Afrospace Interchange and the Small Space Music community, performing new music composed and arranged by Ferella and Patrick Jaffe. Opeing the proceedings will be the now Melbourne based from NZ bass player Alex Keatley with his new band.
