Ensemble Liber, led by violinist Kye Yim Loh, is a Melbourne-based ensemble that does not maintain a fixed lineup. Instead, it brings together different musicians and formations for each project, allowing the group to explore a wide range of chamber music.
Ensemble Liber performs yearly at Glen Eira Gallery as a string trio, and has also collaborated with various ensembles from Korea including The Eum Ensemble, and Ador Te Choir.
This winter, Ensemble Liber returns to Tempo Rubato for the third time with a captivating program, featuring Rebecca Clarke’s Dumka for violin, viola and piano, Mendelssohn’s Sonata No. 2 for cello and piano, and Schumann’s Piano Quartet No. 1. Violist Haram Kim, cellist Josh Dema, pianist Christopher Wong, and violinist Kye Yim Loh bring their expertise and artistry to the performance, creating both warmth and moments of virtuosic brilliance for the audience.
