Balance: Yin Yoga and Sound Bath

On March 15th, find balance amongst change with yin yoga and a sound bath.We are now in the year of the fire horse and you may be feeling that fire energy - intensity, action-orientated, transformation. At the same time, we are nearing the Autumn Equinox and autumn is a time that calls for letting go, grounding and introspection.
The fire horse energy can burn us out if we are not careful to find balance. How can we tame raw, wild energy into a steady, productive, and focused flame? How can we move forward with grace while also taking time to reflect and honour ourselves.
Brahmacharya, the middle path. This is a term in yogic philosophy meaning "the right use of energy" and "moderation."
You are invited to this two hour yin yoga and sound experience to balance and honour the yin and the yang - to work with the fire horse energy as we move into the season of autumn.
We'll start out with meditation and a 75-minute yin yoga practice to find the middle path as we explore the heart and lung meridians. Sound will accompany the poses.
Then relax in a long savasana with a sound bath of 15 high quality 432hz crystal singing bowls, tibetan bowls, chimes, shamanic drums, percussion, handpan and more.
Mats, bolsters, blocks and limited eye masks are available at the studio.
